Isabella Dark: 2010: Cadavre exquis
Cadavre exquis is the ongoing collaborative project between the artists Eleni Dori and John Bicknell under the pseudonym Isabella Dark.
Originating in 2002 the work has developed as a series of paintings and works on paper. The most recent series was completed in the summer of 2012.
The work is a response to the mass and breadth of media information around us – ephemeral, cultural, and personal, and is driven by the intense, improvisational interaction of the two artists and their inventive engagement with images and materials.
